University of Maryland (UMD) to ‘Map’ Innovation Opportunities
The University of Maryland experts in planning and economic development got a $500,000 U.S. Department of Commerce grant to create a new, sophisticated, 3-D analytical tool that ‘maps’ innovation and entrepreneurial networks in the State, and helps spot opportunities for new business collaborations. Their model is very close to the Innovate Kansas model and the co-principal investigator is none other than the latest Innovate Kansas advisory board member, Scott Dempwolf!
Congratulations to UMD for the grant.
