BIOS
Jim Correll currently serves as the director of Fab Lab ICC, facilitator/business coach of the Successful Entrepreneur Program, and as voluntary executive director of IBRC. Jim has owned and worked in small and large businesses for the last 25 years. This includes professional photography, manufacturing management, and online retailing, including Amazon.com where he completed certification in the Amazon Six Sigma Black Belt program. In 2006 he is joined the staff at Independence Community College (ICC) where he has innovated numerous business centric programs such as the Successful Entrepreneur Program, the not-for-profit Innovative Business Resource Center (IBRC), an informal weekly “Entrepreneurs Brown Bag Lunch” (EBBL) to discuss various entrepreneurial and business topics, and the region’s first “Entrepreneurial Mindset” (EM) course using the revolutionary “Ice House” entrepreneurship curriculum. Correll credits many of these activities with creating a circle of “entrepreneurial thinkers” that have led to the creation and launch of Fab Lab ICC in October, 2014.

Tim Haynes, a native of Lawrence, Kansas, graduated from Baker University in 2009 with degrees in French, German, and International Studies, before attending Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, where he completed his M.A. in Sustainable Communities in 2012. Since joining ICC, Tim has incorporated innovation and critical thinking into the ICC’s freshman seminar program, and soon will be co-facilitator of the Entrepreneurial Mindset class, as well as the coordinator of ICC’s Fab Lab curriculum.
